The Real World Hunger Games is an event where tributes compete for the ultimate title of Real World Hunger Games Champion. You can view all of the action from the frantic start at the Cornucopia to the final death. None of the action is scripted as tributes control their own destiny in their quest to become a champion.

Yo diggity - Kevin Dolfin
4:51 PM - We got flushed out of our spot by the river and have successfully relocated - David Dolfin
5:19 PM - Lexi and Angela have died. They were attempting to cross the river with their alliance and one of them got wet and refused to continue crossing so their alliance killed both of them. 27 tributes remain.
5:42 PM - Tributes have mostly remained hidden so far. It's still mostly sunny but the sun will be setting in a couple hours and it's starting to cool off.
6:27 PM - Kyle V, Justin D, Jesse R, Jared V, Gavin, Derick W, and Owen have died. 20 tributes remain.
6:37 PM - Some tributes have built a fire near the cornucopia and are attempting to cook a can of mac n' cheese that they managed to open by hitting it with a rock.
7:34 PM - There is a special event taking place in which there is a small safe zone near the the cornucopia for one hour. Tributes who reach it receive a complimentary water bottle. Approximately 10 tributes have utilized this safe zone in the first half an hour. Additionally, Lucas, Jacob, Brandon, Blake, Derek, and Mitchel W. all died in a massive clash of alliances. 13 tributes remain.
8:50 PM - The special event has ended. Emily, TJ, and Christian have died because Christian had to leave and he needed to drive Emily and TJ home so he eliminated them as well. Three long car horns signified their deaths.
9:49 PM - The college kids are ready to stay the night. Current supplies: matches, knife, toilet paper, 2 weapons. Roughin' it! #ownthefuture -David Dolfin
10:59 PM - Both alliances remaining in the games at least have intentions to wait until morning before attempting to find the other alliance.
12:25 AM - Daniel L. attempted to pick off one or more members of the alliance of 6 tributes but was killed by that alliance. 8 tributes remain.
1:10 AM - A skirmish occurred in which David attempted to enter the camp of the 6 tribute alliance. David injured Wyatt's leg so he will be unable to use it for an hour and David was struck in the shoulder so he will be unable to use one arm for an hour. All tributes escaped alive.
1:36 AM - David attempted to run into the camp of the alliance of 6 tributes and although he put up quite an effort and killed Alec W. he was subsequently killed. 6 tributes remain.
2:49 AM - Kevin finally decided to show his face and approached the remaining alliance of 5 tributes to cause some havoc before his nearly certain death. He was chased out of bounds and stabbed for good measure so he has been eliminated. 5 tributes remain.
8:17 AM - The remaining alliance waited until morning to determine a victor and Chris came out victorious. Congratulations spring 2015 real world hunger games champion.

Dense Arena to Challenge Tributes
The arena for the Spring Real World Hunger Games should pose some difficult challenges for tributes. The forest contains a mix of coniferous and deciduous trees. The undergrowth is dense with thorns, weeds, and other various plants. This density could cause some mobility difficulty for some tributes while providing valuable hiding places for others.
The other difficult arena feature will be the river that runs through the center of the arena. Nearly 75% of tributes cross the river during the Hunger Games and every victor crossed the river at least twice during their victory. One of the first decisions tributes will have to make is whether or not to cross the river. The north side contains dense forest which can provide valuable shelter while the Cornucopia side (South) is more open and familiar to tributes. Deciding to stay on the south side also eliminates the chance of falling in the river and getting wet. Playing with wet (or no) shoes can make for a miserable Hunger Games, and thus increases the chance of a forfeit.
We recommend viewing the Spring 2014 Hunger Games on our YouTube Channel to get a good idea of what to expect in this year's Hunger Games.

Weather Projections for Hunger Games
There are only 8 days until the 2015 Spring Real World Hunger Games. We have received our first official weather forecast for May 23rd. Partly cloudy skies are predicted with a high temperature of 66 Degrees. Overnight temperatures should dip to about 52 Degrees which could pose some challenges for the tributes that are still alive. There is a 20% chance of rain during the Hunger Games.
Tributes should take the projected weather into account when making their clothing selections. The Real World Hunger Games has implemented an unrestricted clothing rule for the first time. Tributes are allowed to wear as much or as little clothing as they would like. This allows tributes to choose the best clothing for the strategies they wish to use.

Josh K to Fill Game Maker Role
Josh K has agreed to be the Game Maker for the Spring 2015 Real World Hunger Games to be contested on May 23rd. The RWHG Staff is ecstatic that this role was able to filled by such a capable individual. Kevin Dolfin, Real World Hunger Games Director of Gameplay, stated that "The role of Game Maker has been a tough one for us to fill this Spring as most participants wish to play in what we expect to be our largest Hunger Games. We are excited to have Josh because a solid GM is vital to the success of any Hunger Games."
Josh will also be hosting a Live Stream which can be viewed from our YouTube Channel. Last Spring was the first time a Live Stream was used for a Real World Hunger Games. It helped to grow interest in the event around the world. Viewers of last year's event included individuals from Great Britain and Australia. A sleepy Josh stated in an interview early Tuesday morning that "We hope to be able to broadcast from around the world this year. Our new technology allows for hosts from multiple locations to join in on the live stream." The RWHG Staff has a few guests planned for the live stream including past tributes located in Italy and Michigan. This step is one among many on the path of making the Real World Hunger Games a worldwide phenomenon.
David Dolfin added that "We have an exciting event planned this year with a few complex ideas. We are relieved to have an individual as skilled and trustworthy as Josh executing our months of planning." These Games will indeed be an exciting event with a few twists and turns that tributes may not expect.
"This year's Hunger Games will be the most well organized RWHG ever. We hope that you can join us for this unique experience." -Josh K, Real World Hunger Games GM
